I’m a native West Virginian and only claimed another state while attending Belmont University in Nashville, TN (years ago) where my love for the music business only grew stronger. While in Nashville a strong base was formed in the entertainment industry however there was always a driving force pulling me back to West Virginia to one day continue the legacy of the company that got me started in this business back in 1998. That company is MPE Entertainment and that reality is now. From starting as a young musician playing and working shows to now owning MPE Entertainment and becoming the company’s President, it has been a dream come true.
It is up to all of us entrepreneurs and business owners young and old to keep #myhuntington moving forward. While we all could live anywhere and work in these industries that are more prominent in major markets, it is up to us to keep the city moving forward and making it the best that it can be. It’s really impressive to me that we have such a great base of progressive people that are keeping Huntington alive and prospering. This is clearly attracting more and more businesses, and people to the community. As the city grows so can the entertainment and MPE will continue to offer first-class attractions to the area.
Here at home, you can find me with my wife and three children looking forward to continuing on the journey to make #myhuntington the best it can be. Get out there and enjoy what our town has to offer and keep focusing on all the positive things that are happening ALL THE TIME. There are so many things that we take for granted here and while people tend to focus on the negative, choose otherwise. As a message on one of my favorite drink bottle caps said a few weeks ago….. Work hard, and be nice to people————-> and go support live music! It’s just that easy!
